You go to the mail box and there is ….. A wedding invitation to the wedding of the year!
And then it hits you – what am I going to get them?
Getting that special couple a gift that is going to be memorable, unique, and maybe even creative is difficult. You first go to see which Bridal Registries they are on. You get the typical Macy’s, Target, Wal-Mart, JC Penney’s … you get the picture. If there are any unique gifts there, they are probably all ready bought. And usually, at the Bridal Registries, the couple has listed “must have” or “need” items/gifts. You know the kind: dishes, towels, small appliances and so on. But this is the wedding of the year! You want your gift to be unique! Memorable!
What can you do? Start thinking outside of the ‘registry’; you know the couple – what are their interest or their likes? What would truly look unique in their first home together? How about a Tiffany style desk lamp that would sit on top of their home office desk? Then, every time they turn on that lamp, they think of you and then it truly is a heartfelt gift. They do not have a home office desk? Then give them a Tiffany style Iris table lamp. It will compliment any living room decor and bring smiles to their faces every time they turn it on!
